Five years ago, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything for me. I was studying Hospitality Management and dreamed of opening my own restaurant one day. But when the hospitality industry shut down here in the Netherlands, I started questioning whether this was truly what I wanted for my future.

The lockdown gave me time and space to explore something new. Out of curiosity (and a bit of boredom) I started experimenting with my mother’s old sewing machine. I found lingerie tutorials online and couldn’t resist giving it a try. When I finished my first lingerie piece, I knew right away: this is it!

​

 

Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering lingerie design. I completed the Lingerie Design program at Topais Fashion Academy in Breda, took advanced lingerie sewing lessons in Amsterdam, graduated from the Business Fashion Academy in Utrecht, interned at the design department of Sam Friday, and now work freelance for brands such as Isanoa Intimates and Hanna Peters Couture.
